Vision
The Audio Analysis Lab at the Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University conducts basic and applied research in signal processing theory and methods for audio and acoustic applications, and we are particularly interested in how audio can be used to ensure good health and well-being for people in their daily lives. We are, for example, interested in how signal processing can be used to combat noise in many different contexts and how sound can be used in healthcare applications. The lab strives to push the boundaries of current methods and to increase the understanding of unsolved problems by pursuing mathematically tractable approaches based on statistical principles for stating, analyzing and solving these problems.
